BEP Lyman LLC dba Carpentry Contractors Company (ABC Panels) headquartered at 100 Zephyr Avenue, Montrose, MN 55363, phone number: 763-658-4000, is looking to fill 20 Woodworking Machine Operator positions from 03/15/2025 to 12/17/2025. This is for full time, Peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: Set up, tend, and operate woodworking machines or assist with tasks associated with woodworking machines. Sorting, moving, fastening, and positioning lumber. Examine finished workpieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rules, calipers, templates, or gauges. Monitor operation of machines and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. Workers may be asked to drive a company vehicle to transport workers to and from the worksite or to other specific locations deemed necessary by management if they hold a Minnesota Driver's License. Clean-up site. Special Requirements: Three (3) months of production or related experience required. Must be able to lift seventy-five (75) lbs. for 75 yards. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, post-accident, and other random drug testing. Workers may be asked to pass on communications between English-speaking associates to non-English-speaking associates and vice versa as needed by management. The pay rate is from $21.77 up to $23.00 per hour with overtime available from $32.66 up to $34.50 per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week with the following varying shifts: 1st shift: Mon-Thurs - 5:00AM to 3:30PM (w/ 30 min lunch), 2nd shift Mon-Wed 4:00PM to 4:30AM and Thursday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (w/ 30 min lunches), Monday-Thursday. Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 100 Zephyr Avenue Montrose, MN 55363 and will service clients within the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI, including the county of Wright. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites. Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. The employer provides housing to the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $85.00. Housing is optional. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. If the housing option is utilized, a worker may be asked to be the point of contact at the residence to communicate and distribute information to the other residence members to management. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (b t not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
