Role and Responsibilities

The role we are offering you:

  • Monitor the progress of projects and milestones, involving technical leaders when required.

  • Participate in the resources’ planning of projects.

  • In the absence of the centralized planner, take charge of the team assignments

  • Follow the anomalies and their resolutions according to the objectives.

  • Participate in project meetings as needed, particularly for complex projects and programs.

  • Participate in project implementation schedule review meetings.

  • Ensure that the processes and procedures in place are followed and respected during the execution of projects.

  • Help the team in resolving obstacles on projects.

  • Monitor the software and hardware developments of the product.

  • Communicate regularly with the software and / or hardware development and software and / or hardware product creation teams.

  • Replace the project execution leader when the leader is absent (eg for holidays).

  • Act as a leader of change

  • Interact with project managers

  • Participate in the continuous improvements of the department.

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • A participatory spirit where training, communication and teamwork are essential

  • Understanding of aspects of the production cell and engineering, equipment operation and reduction of cycle time to ensure effective management of work teams an asset.

  • Understanding of concepts specific to operating systems, computer architectures, aircraft simulation software and interface with on-board instruments an asset.

  • Knowledge of simulated systems and interface with onboard instruments and avionics, an asset.

  • Ability to solve problems.

  • Knowledge of a configuration management tool (eg: Starteam, Github Enterprise).

  • Ability to adapt quickly to technological changes.

  • Demonstrates strong ownership and flexibility in the face of assigned tasks and projects as well as the ability to work and make decisions independently.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Results-based approach.

  • Initiative, autonomy, dynamism, team spirit and taste for challenges.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required
