Your role

As a hairdresser for TV productions, you will design, prepare and execute, as instructed, a wide range of hairstyles and haircuts, based on the era, style, shoot type and desired objectives, in order to meet production needs.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Qualifications:

  • Vocational diploma in hairdressing or other relevant diploma

  • Two (2) or more years' hairdressing experience in TV or film

Skills:

  • Able to tailor hairstyles to specific circumstances: requirements of role, person's natural characteristics, costumes, planned attire, ambient lighting, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills

  • Able and willing to work unusual hours (early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and overtime)

  • Able to work effectively in a tight-deadline environment

  • Able to work under pressure

Please note these are casual (on-call, part-time) opportunities and shifts may include being assigned to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights and weekends.
