What youll do:

Position title: SAP CX Solution Area iXp Intern Full-Stack Software Developer

Location: Montreal, QC

Expected start date: October 2024

Key responsibilities of this role are the following:

  • Work on full-stack development (UI, business logic, persistence, etc.)

  • Participate in each stage of the Software Development Lifecycle (analyze, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain) and take full ownership and responsibility for your work

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members

  • Participate in user interface design for customer projects

  • Take part in customer-facing meetings and activities

  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality code

  • Maintain a strong focus on quality throughout the entire development process

  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge, and share expertise within the team

What you bring:

Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Ideal candidates for this role will have the following:

  • Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Java programming language

  • Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)

  • Experience with Angular and Typescript

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

  • Ability to work as part of a self-organizing team and adapt to new technologies and tools quickly

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Any of the following would be an advantage but not required:

  • Experience with JSP/JSTL, JPA, JEE, and Spring

  • Experience with mobile web application development

  • Experience in eCommerce projects

  • Experience with Twitter Bootstrap

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, infrastructure and deployment processes, and agile concepts

SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 23 - 40(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
