Job title: Customer Insights Analyst

What to Expect:

We are looking for a Customer Insights Analyst based at our Montreal location reporting into the Customer Insights Manager for Nespresso. This is a key role within Nespresso in developing our understanding of customer behaviour. The successful candidate will be an analytical and strategic thinker who will take ownership for collecting business critical requirements, analysing vast amounts of customer data, and visualising the findings to increase campaign and initiative effectiveness and support commercial decision making across the business.

A day in the life of:

  • You will work day to day directly with the marketing B2B and Boutique team while having frequent collaborations with other analysts and leads within the Growth, Insights and Analytics team who support businesses.

  • Synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including customer transaction data, consumer & syndicated research and campaign results. Extrapolate and interpret appropriate information to deliver value add recommendation.

  • Consult on experimentation approaches and translate results into actionable takeaways to help drive boutique and B2B growth.

  • Lead the reporting & presentations that are engaging, client-friendly, and insightful while incorporating best practices in data visualization and story-telling, on an adhoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis

  • Extract, review and prepare data for analysis & reporting using SQL.

  • Provide operational support to the marketing activations including business cases, targeting & reporting.

Role Requirements:

As the successful candidate, you will need to be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with strong communication in order to present complex data clearly.

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in business administration, statistics or related disciplines, with a sound understanding of data analytics

  • 5+ years related work experience in an analytical role ideally in Retail

  • Experience with measuring campaign effectiveness.

  • Expert in data manipulation and analysis using SQL

  • Have previously built compelling visualizations to convey key insights using Power BI

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with of Adobe Experience Plateform as an asset

  • Proven strategic, analytic and communication (both written and oral) skills

  • Strong communication skills, adept at data-driven storytelling
