AON Commercial & Affinity Program Account Manager in Montreal, Canada

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Montreal office.

What the day will look like

  • Provide insurance advice and guidance to Affinity and Commercial Clients

  • Identify specific client risk exposure and develop and present innovative coverage solutions in support of existing/new business growth targets

  • Establish account-specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions and provide continued opportunities for Aon product/service exposure

  • Service clients by developing and managing client relationships/expectations to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities

  • Analyze client-specific risk exposure and detail coverage requirements. Prepares and presents marketing proposals for renewals and new business

  • Consult with underwriters to establish the best terms and conditions for premiums and coverage (where applicable)

  • Follow up with insurer(s) to confirm the terms of the secured contract are met

  • Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals

  • Establish contacts and cultivate relationships within the underwriting community to achieve the best rates and coverage for Aon Clients

  • Develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business

  • Review and approve applicable insurance documentation

  • Obtain new business through existing clients, client referrals, targeted campaigns and Aon client network and placement with the appropriate insurance market

  • Respond to client inquiries either by telephone or by email

  • Provide direction when a claim is reported or inquired upon

  • Review application information and refer to Insurers where appropriate

  • Other related duties as required

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Post Secondary degree

  • Fluently bilingual in English and French

  • AMF Damage Insurance License

  • 2+ years of relevant commercial lines

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook

  • Knowledge of Commercial and Financial Lines products and services.

  • Ability to organize and administer various tasks.

  • Committed team player

  • Customer service, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical, mathematical, decision making and negotiating skills
