Job Opportunities:
We are currently looking to fill multiple C positions across the Montreal office. From opportunities in Fixed Income and Prime Brokerage, to positions in Operations and Finance Technologies, all the way through to roles in Application Infrastructure and Firm Resilience, and everything in between, our software development teams in Montreal service several business lines, developing applications from front to back office as well as enterprise systems.
Our teams are hiring for various levels of experience, so whether you only have a few years of experience, or are a Senior Developer, Technical Lead or Team Lead, we want to speak with you!
As a member of a software development squad, you will:
• Design & develop innovative, reliable solutions using latest technology architecture • Take ownership of the technology platforms • Drive the modernization and agile agenda • Collaborate and understand the needs and problems of our business lines
Who should apply?
You should apply on this requisition if you have, at minimum, the following profile:
• Expert C skills with 3 to 20 years of experience writing production code (we have room for all levels of seniority!) • Proficiency with Unix/Linux.
Should I highlight anything specific?
While this is not a requirement, we are very interested in people who have exposure to the following technologies or subjects. Don’t hesitate to highlight them on your resume!
• Experience building real time applications in C using STL/Boost/Multithreading for the Unix/Linux platform • Experience with Python, Perl, Scala or Shell scripting • Experience with SQL, Sybase, DB2, Greenplum • Experience developing client-server, distributed, real-time, performance-critical, highly available, or large-scale systems • Knowledge and experience on agile software development practices • Knowledge of financial technologies (e.g. FIX protocol) and business applications • Knowledge of financial modelling • Knowledge of trading, risk and pricing systems for Fixed Income Securities are a strong plus • Delivery/Project management experience • Integration experience
