POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a candidate with relevant business analysis experience. The Business Analyst will be responsible to create, modify and implement optimized business processes, with a view to improvement and innovation, for the needs and activities of a squad working on BDC’s Core Lending System (CLS).
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Participate in the analysis of the client's needs, collect and document all business requirements, review, update requirements, specifications, processes and make recommendations related to a proposed solution.
Participate in the prioritization process with the involved business lines.
Understand the business context and the impact of changes on the organization's processes and act as an SME on that aspect.
Align the various stakeholders using recognized methods.
Establish and maintain a high level of interaction with the business and collaborators such as other squads.
Use recognized methods for requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure deliverables are following established specifications.
Take a leadership role in the adoption of processes, establish appropriate communications and provide demos and training to target audiences.
Keep abreast of the needs and strategies of various internal clients.
Participate in the change management process and the associated communications.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant studies
Experience in a Business Analyst role is a must
Experience in the financial services, the CLS and CLICS ecosystems a strong asset
Certification in Business Analysis, CBAP or PMI-PBA an asset
Good analytical skills and ability to synthesize information
Knowledge of business analysis best practices and methodologies
Good ability to learn and to challenge existing processes and procedures
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Effectively influence stakeholders at all levels using a diverse range of techniques, including persuasive communication, data-driven presentations, and collaborative workshops
Ability to manage ambiguous situations and quickly understand new concepts
Good listening and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Office suite, including Visio
Bilingualism is a mandatory requirement (French and English)
