We need seasoned cloud delivery professionals who deliver world-class implementations – finding the right balance between delivery rigor and discipline and creating an exceptional customer experience. They spend the majority of their time with the client, at their location, focused solely on their client, and the project work at hand.

The role:

The Oracle Cloud PaaS4SaaS Technical Delivery Lead is a multifaceted role that requires a combination of skills:

1. deep knowledge in SaaS Applications technology and OCI/PaaS technology

2. good understanding of SaaS functionality, processes, and capabilities

3. storing leadership and management skills

The tech lead is expected to apply their technical and functional expertise on one hand, and leadership skills on the other, to ensure successful delivery of all technical aspects on their projects. The tech lead is accountable for all technical items (scope) and works closely with the customer counterparts, onshore and offshore functional resources, and oversee and directs the technical teams to meet commitments to our customers on time and on budget.

With the above facets in play, on a typical project, the lead is expected to conduct familiarization sessions, run workshops on all technical items, lead and develop technical strategies and architecture, effectively lead customer, functional, and technical resources in the context of technical items, ensure quality processes and peer reviews are being followed, track and communicate status, anticipate/foresee risk, escalate, and implement mitigations; and finally ensure the technical scope is delivered on time and budget and meets our quality standards, resulting in referenceable customers. The lead is expected to perform as an advisor to the customer, provide guidance and direction, and maintain a good, valuable, and productive relationship.

Aside from tech lead role on a project, capitalizing on their experience and skills, the candidate should be able to support sales pursuits, conduct technical discovery sessions, work with deals teams on solution design and estimation, and participate in sales presentations and orals showcasing our teams’ solutions, experience, and capabilities.

Additionally, the candidate should be able to contribute/lead innovation and initiatives in the context of our communities of practice and cross functional teams.

To be successful and effective, the lead must possess and have experience the following skills in alignment with the facets of the role:

1. Technical skills

2. Foundational understanding of OCI

3. Oracle SaaS experience in Architecture, Data Migration, Integration, Reporting, and Extensions; including experience in SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM, depending on area of expertise) inbound and outbound capabilities as well as reporting and extensions

4. Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering the above tracks

5. Deep experience in integration in general, demonstrated knowledge in platforms (preferably OIC), integration patterns, security, and processes

6. Experience in OIC, VBCS, Process Cloud, ATP

7. Foundational expertise in security: IDCS and security standards, SOS, SAML, OAUTH, PGP, ..etc.

9. Experience and clear understanding of functional concepts in SaaS modules in areas of expertise

10. Clear understanding of functional processes and workflows

Responsibilities

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $109,600 to $225,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $103,500 to $202,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $93,500 to $214,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $115,700 to $214,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
