Job Title:

Sr. Professional I, Procurement

Job Description

The Procurement/Analyst Professional is responsible for negotiating High Value Global purchases and identifying opportunities for cost reduction on a global, strategic level including developing and implementing cost improvement strategies related to the acquisition and use of 3rd party providers at the direction of the Sr. Director over Global Strategic Partners.

• Manage Strategic Partnerships as part of an ongoing strategy to improve supplier value and reduce supplier product and service costs

• Analyze and Identify supplier-related cost reduction opportunities and strategies on a corporate wide basis and aggressively pursue implementation

• Lead big-ticket global negotiations, new contracts and contract renewals, in support of internal and external use cases

• Maintain high sourcing visibility through frequent interaction and communication with business user groups and associated suppliers.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to Senior Leadership/C-Suite Executive levels

• Develop sources for new and existing products and services

• Conduct industry bench-marking pricing and make recommendations on programs to reduce costs

• Identify and develop supplier process improvement initiatives

• Organize and lead business reviews with key suppliers

• Communicates new/revised contract and purchase terms to stakeholder and user community

• Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University in procurement, supply chain management, business/finance, or related field

• 7+ years experience in Strategic Sourcing and/or Finance

• Experience with Tech negotiations preferred

• Strong Analytical skills

• Strategic/Critical thinker

• Strong Communication skills

• Proficient in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)

• Data modeling skill
