Join the Uruguay Finance team and play a key role in optimizing local accounting operations and aligning them with our financial reporting needs.

We are offering a full-time position (40 hours a week plus lunch time) with hybrid work style available.

The Role

• Process invoices and manage vendor accounts (Accounts Payable)

• Manage client billing and collections (Accounts Receivable)

• Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, analysis of accounts and balance sheets and accounts reconciliations

• Prepare financial statements and assist in statutory audits

• Prepare statutory reports

• Prepare Free Trade Zone bi-annual affidavits and mandatory surveys

• Prepare Free Trade Zone Investment Project form

• Perform administrative tasks and assist payroll personnel as needed

• Cooperate with the local Finance team and business departments and management

The Requirements

• Studies in Administration, Accounting or similar (at University or Technical Institutions)

• Knowledge of general accounting and financial controlling

• Experience of at least three years in performing the duties listed above

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (will be tested)

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools and excellent data manipulation skills

• Keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence

• Self-motivation, conceptual thinking, and critical problem solving

• Good organizational skills in terms of managing workload, planning and organization

• Teamwork and collaboration
