Job Description

Danfoss Mexico is looking for an experienced Project Manager based in our Apodaca Plant. This is your opportunity to join to a great company and be part of an amazing team.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Follow and secure adherence to local MEX standards

  • Execute/co-operate to start new product launches and re-location of existing

  • Execute/co-operate on CAPEX, equipment investment projects (planning and management)

  • Tracking and documenting the progress of projects steps, milestones and deadlines"

  • Create and support on creation of material supply chain from EU to MEX

  • Create and support on external warehousing and logistics connections to factory

  • Set-up JIT logistics chains between external warehouse and production according to production orders.

  • Create and support on distribution to customers"

  • Execute planned lyout and correcsponding engineering connecitons

  • Coordinate delivery of machines and their set-up and preparariton for SOP

  • Coordinate local vendors for assembly and start-up procedures

  • Coordinate delivery of various smaller tools and equipments and secure their installation according to Bock Standards"

  • Cooperate together with Bock worldwide factories

  • Understand the key processes and trainings in EU factories

  • Training and sucuring of know-how distribution of Bock standars into local production set-up"

  • Supporting new purchased product/compenents EU / MEX

  • Supporting supplier deveopment process

  • Supporting CDE (Cost Down Engineering) project"

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor´s Degree: Engineering

  • 3-5 years in similar role

  • Process engineer with CNC background.

  • Manufacturing or mechanical background.

  • Fluent English

  • Experience with project mgmt. or possible production relocation / localization

  • SAP / IT knowledge from production perspective – build up of BOM’s, BOL’s, production orders, logistics planning (appreciated)

  • Operations experience

  • Machines and CNC process know-how/experience (tools, measuring, set-up, critical points)

  • ISO / Quality standards knowledge / local standards

  • Travel Availability

  • Quality focus
