Job Description Summary
Program Manager – Supplier Transfers will serve as the leader for the PMO (Program Management Organization) for assigned supplier transfer projects. Key responsibilities include development of program plans including risk management plans & ensure flawless program execution complying with GEHC Quality Management System to ensure realization of program & business objectives in line with the SBU & sourcing strategy. This may include global program management responsibilities and managing multi SBU/region supplier transfers. As a Program Manager you will be required to communicate project execution status with key stakeholders in the business at a regular frequency

Lead and drive supplier transfer programs to meet program deliverables in compliance with GEHC Quality Management System. Create detailed task-oriented project plans, assess risks and create risk mitigation plans, collaborate with cross functional teams and suppliers to ensure that supplier transfer projects are completed on time and mitigate any potential customer impact.
Essential Responsibilities:
Working with Sourcing Leaders to identify strategy with the materials Value stream Map(VSM) and cost analysis
Working with sourcing, modality engineering and Variable Cost Productivity(VCP) leaders to implement the strategy and support development of business case and partner with sourcing teams to ensure that funding and resources are secured.
Leading global and cross-functional teams to drive supplier transfer execution by following quality compliance process and utilize design change to ensure quality as well as meet schedule cost target. Responsible for managing all aspects of a supplier transfer project over the entire life of the project as shown by the following process groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing
Supporting ISC to drive Toyota model implementation in Best Cost country and identify GE Healthcare ISC strategies based on country/region technology expertise analysis
Working closely with global and region sourcing leaders to leverage Best Cost Country supplier to drive Material Cost Reduction(MCR), Interface with all areas affected by the project, ensuring successful integration of all project work products.
Balance the competing demands of scope, time, and cost while achieving the highest quality and stakeholder/customer satisfaction levels and manage project and project team activities in the development and launch of transfer.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
At least 5 years project management work experience with technical depth/knowledge, or 5 years of Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience in the healthcare or any related industry.
Advanced English level.
Desired Characteristics:
Excellent communication skills and project management skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments with very high “Say to Do” ratio.
Experience in implementing a compliant supply chain Lean certification or PMP certification preferred Self motivated with inclination to complete tasks/activities on time without any follow up.
