Brown-Forman Junior Key Account Manager Retail in Monterrey, Mexico

This position is responsible for developing our Ready To Drink (RTDs’) strategy, which is our fastest growing category; for Soriana, which is key on the Supermarket Channel.

Meaningful Work From Day One:

Responsible for covering the sales objectives (Sell in/Sell out), distribution, and collection for the retail channel. Planning and implementation of actions that help improve productivity/efficiency.

What You Can Expect:

  • Key negotiations. Carry out key negotiations with the chain, Account Management, and Comprehensive knowledge of the client and the market to establish effective negotiations and obtain key results for the company both in Sell In and ensure in-store deployment.

  • Listing new products, maintaining the optimal portfolio with the client, Cataloging new products, and establishing Commercial strategies for registrations by the client.

  • Sales Budget Management, P&L, Demand Planning. Review monthly sales targets, financial budget and profitability analysis of promotions, and sell-in—sell-out estimates. Collaborate with CPFR on forecasting and replenishment level review.

  • Constant reviews of the negotiation with clients. Establish a win-win relationship based on long-term collaboration. Review and know the status of each brand by self-service account at a general and regional level to obtain constant reviews and verify that the negotiations carried out with customers are successful.

  • Portfolio Recovery. Coordinate and control chain payments to maintain a reciprocity of sales. Manage promotional discounts with the credit and collection team to ensure the commercial portfolio.

  • Compliance: Follow company guidelines and policies on budgets already established

  • Key Customer Management: Alignment of customers in the strategy generating JBP's seeking medium and long-term growth

  • Communication with internal areas to align strategies with the client

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s in Administration, Marketing, International Relations, International Trade, related.

  • Previous Experience: Up to 2 years of experience working or leading Soriana or Supermarket accounts or similar positions as CPFR in Consumer companies.

  • Knowledge of Commercial Relations, Marketing, Effective Negotiations, and Finance. Sell In, Sell Out, Instock.

  • Knowledge of Retail link, Word, Excel, SAP, office and web.

  • Negotiation Skills, Versatility, Decision Making, Analysis Capability, Personal Relationships, Persuasion, Negotiation, Creativity and Supervision. Adherence to company policies.

  • Effective communication, Proactivity, Leadership, Thinking outside the box
