Scope:

• Diageo Mexico has multiplied the Sales (volume) two times in the last five years and our growth projection is to double the business into the next 5 years. We have a clear vision of being recognized as one of the top 3 sales forces.

• Diageo has a solid position as market leader into the growing category of whisky. We want to strengthen our position in whisky category, but at the same time we have decided to expand our relevance and continue with our value creation strategy by entering in some other categories, such as rum, vodka and premixes

• Competitiveness in the industry and more demanding customers have driven the suppliers to develop new business strategies based on deep business analysis and insight generation to meet their expectations and achieve our bold business goals through execution

Market Complexity:

• Competitors are becoming more professionals in their approach with customers. We have been ahead of them, but in a changing environment we need to continue leading the way of doing business with them, including new concepts and variables into the conversation and generating customer, consumer and shopper insights to build value for both.

Leadership

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all subjects related to the customer, becoming an integrated business person.

• Leader of multi-functional teams with all areas in DIAGEO (finance, supply, Marketing) in order to develop, implement and measure all JuBP activities.

• Responsible for maintain Diageo’s position as strategic supplier for their business.

• Efficient response to brands and customer’s needs and tailor made analysis to develop commercial plans to grow our business

• Capable to encourage others to reach business objectives.

• Become a strategic partner and preferred supplier for wholesale customers.

• Align with all CARM processes

Top Accountabilities:

• Responsible for Volume, budget management and commercial relationship results.

• Responsible for stocking and healthy inventories objectives.

• Responsible for looking for opportunities to increase Share in TBA

• Responsible for distribution, collection and fill rate objectives achievement.

• Generate relevant contributions in terms of cash flow for the company

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Capabilities required

• Fully capable in Diageo Way of Selling

• Experience working with key accounts (Modern Trade and/or Wholesale customers) in CPG companies

• Confirmed analytical, planning and negotiation skills, as well as critical thinking

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrate proactivity, initiative and determination (always work with sense of urgency)

• Understanding of multifunctional interdependencies within Diageo

• Financial understanding

• University or college graduate

• Proficiency English
