Work Location : Butte, MT preferred; will consider other major office locations within Montana service territory

Pay range : $20.00 per hour

Employment Status: Temporary (May - August full-time, 40 hours per week) (September - December part-time, up to 20 hours per week)

About this position:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer Intern to join our Creative Services team. The intern will assist in creating comprehensive technical reference guides and documentation for various print center machines and processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical writing and contribute to meaningful projects.

About this job:

  • Transcribe Video Tutorials: Convert video content into detailed technical reference guides

  • Documentation: Develop clear and concise guidelines and procedures for Print Center processes.

  • Organize and Maintain Documentation: Ensure all documentation is stored and organized

  • Aid in digital asset management system deployment

  • Hands-on experience in technical writing and documentation

  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with technical writing tools and software is a plus.

  • Student must have completed Freshman level or higher by start date

  • Must be in good academic standing

  • Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application
