Location: Pilot-Captain position will be based out of either Panama, Honduras, or Nicaragua.
Job Purpose:
This King Air 90 Captain role exists to provide single-pilot expertise to our Sterile Insect Technique bases located in Panama, Honduras, and Nicaragua to meet company requirements and customer needs.
Duties:
Pilot the King Air 90 as a single pilot Captain in a safe and professional manner
Be familiar with destination, alternate airports, actual and forecasted meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation and radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs
Ensure completion of pre- and post-flight inspection of the aircraft before and after each mission
Fly accurately in relation to mission criteria
Communicate effectively with base manager, customer, and system operations center.
Complete daily, weekly or monthly digital reports (maintenance records, timesheets, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner.
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
FAA Commercial / Instrument / Multi-Engine license
A minimum of 1200 hours total flight time (multi-engine turboprop preferred)
Ability to qualify single pilot and work in a multi-crew environment
FAA A&P maintenance certificate (preferred)
Possess at least a 2nd class medical
Relocation toPanama, Honduras or Nicaragua
Ability to work as a team member
Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
Job Experience: Prior cross-cultural and foreign language experience preferred.
