DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Financial Analyst supports the Specialty Chemical and Materials business unit through several accounting and finance activities. You will support the manufacturing and R&D activities at the Monroeville, PA, Barberton, OH, and Shannon, Ireland facilities. You will report to the Financial Analysis Manager. This role can be based in Corporate GO (Pittsburgh, PA) or in Monroeville, PA.

Key Responsibilities * Provide financial support to the SCM team focusing on the SSG (OLED and Photochromic Dye) segments. * Lead monthly closing activities such as journal entries, variance analysis and reporting, production team collaboration, and other main activities that support the trial balance submission. * Complete monthly and quarterly account analysis requirements for SC&M. * SSG cost activities including costing new Photochromic and OLED materials in SAP and completing OLED batch sheets weekly. * Assist with SC&M financial reporting including distribution of monthly departmental statements to management and critical customer reporting. * Lead Dye FP&A activities and assist with OLED FP&A activities. * Deliver process improvements in customer reporting, cost sheets, and business processes. * Complete financial analysis and presentation of results to the Global Business Director, SSG leadership team, Finance Director, and SC&M VP. * Have a detailed understanding of applicable Controller's Manual policies and ensure that controls over areas like disbursement approval authorities are effective and support internal control environment. * Use HFM/Excel Retrieve to analyze and report all types of business unit financial information to support SC&M leadership.

Qualifications * Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting , finance, or related field with at least 4 years experience required. * Plant cost accounting, Excel, and SAP experience is desired. * A validated understanding of accounting principles and financial accounting experience is essential.
