DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Analytical Lab Technician

Monroeville, PA

As the Analytical Lab Technician at the Monroeville Business and Technology Center you will be supporting Analytical testing for Compositional analysis of our electrocoat and pretreatment formulations for both internal and external customers.

In this role you will be responsible for following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and testing methods (STMs) which include sample preparation and operation of atomic spectroscopy equipment and capillary electrophoresis.

You will work on-site at our Monroeville, PA facility and report to the Compositional Analysis Team Lead.

Responsibilities: * Precise measurement and sample preparation as described by STMs and SOPs * Creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment * Upholding safety standards for the team * Documenting and reporting experimental details in a professional manner * Keen observation of experimental details and external factors * Independent planning and execution on all aspects of an experiment with guidance from supervisor * Interpreting data and making recommendations for future work * Learns, understands, supports, and conforms to company policies and processes, and follows all EH&S and safety guidelines.

Qualifications: * Experience with analytical testing is desired * Previous of laboratory experience highly preferred * Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple project tasks preferred * High School diploma or equivalent required
