Robert Half has partnered with a well-known manufacturing company near Monroe who is in search of a Financial Analyst. This job opportunity comes as a result of an internal promotion. Reporting to the Controller, responsibilities will include operational accounting, financial analysis and reporting in compliance with GAAP. Responsibilities:

• Play a crucial role in driving operational performance and financial success by working closely with the Plant manager and staff.

• Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly financial reviews set by the management.

• Carry out bi-annual fixed asset inventory and annual standard cost processes.

• Engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes for the facility's operation.

• Conduct analyses to explain significant discrepancies in monthly forecasts from internal reports and analysis.

• Prepare weekly dashboard report highlighting key performance indicators.

• Ensure accurate valuation of inventories in compliance with GAAP

• Lead efforts in enhancing internal communication at all levels across the firm.

• Support and facilitate internal and external financial audits.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Business Administration preferred

• 5+years operational accounting experience with manufacturing firms

• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to make fact-based decisions promptly

• Comfortable in a dynamic business environment and capable of adapting to constant change

• Exposure to ERP system environments, JD Edwards experience a plus

• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills

• Active accounting certification, preferably CMA, is a plus but not required
