Position Summary: The Warehouse Administrator plans, directs, controls, coordinates and evaluates all logistics and sales service activities (shipping/receiving, turnover, materials handling and internal customer service). They plan and direct the activities of all human and physical resources within the logistics department to achieve proper and quality on-time shipments at the best cost.

Communication:
Same day/ASAP acknowledgement of Direct and Sales Service Emails
Clearly assign responsibility for concerns beyond our scope
3-day Max Resolution
Follow up with support/responsible parties to ensure resolution in timely manner
Receiving
Ensure all paperwork is provided for all received material
Material systematically received or assigned to Stat 3 within 2 days
Providing Operations Receiving Team with correct Tags and Tallys to ensure stocking within 3 days of receipt

Desirable Skills, Abilities and Education: Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field; 3 to 5 years’ experience in material management, sales or customer service, transportation, or a related field. Ability to read, write, and fluently speak the English language. Ability to read and comprehend concepts of moderate to high difficulty, and ability to communicate responses and actions related to these concepts. Ability to work effectively with common PC programs, such as spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word), and ability to learn mainframe program (Metalware). Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and particularly to be able to freely determine ratios. The ability to generate graphic representations of data is required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3 -5 years of experience in materials management, sales or customer service, transportation, or a related field.
Understanding of freight expense and the activity that relates to the expenses.
Experience with compliance for all national and local regulations and rules affecting transportation and safety.
Ability to learn proprietary program (Metalware)
Ability to comprehend concepts of moderate to high difficulty and ability to communicate responses and actions related to these concepts.
Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office software.
