ATI is seeking to hire a Powder Solutions Intern for our Summer 2024 Internship Program. This position will be based in Charlotte, NC and will run from June to August 2025. Relocation and housing assistance is available for the summer.

What Youll Do
Technical projects in metal powder manufacturing, potentially including nickel, titanium, or niobium based powders.
Technology including atomization, screening, and powder handling
Projects will be related to addressing
Work with engineers and operators on improvements, and targets for future improvements
CAD of equipment component design
Working with machine shops to prototype improvements, and operators to test
Communicate with leadership about projects and results
What Youll Gain
Engineering problem solving on industrial-scale powder manufacturing equipment
Experience understanding how design features of equipment affect product yield and execution of tasks
Communication to multiple levels of an organization, from the shop floor to the business unit president
CAD design skills, and experience working with machine shops
Conduct risk assessments with cross-functionally with a team of operators,
