THIS IS A FRANCHISE POSITION

Core Competencies:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age with reliable transportation to and from work.

  • Instore team members work in the following areas and may be assigned to one or more of these areas – Food Prepping, Order Taking, Dough Slapping, Pizza Toppings, Oven-Tending, Routing. Core competencies include:

  • Must be able to speak and understand conversational English, read menus and computer screens in English, and be able to audibly communicate in English to both team members and customers.

  • Must possess basic math and cash management skills, be able to tell time, and be able to calculate simple conversions.

  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently, effectively, accurately, and quickly to maintain production while also providing high levels of responsive customer service.

  • Must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, upbeat environment with a diverse set of co-workers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Read menus and computer screens to accurately and quickly prepare menu items for the day and in accordance with the restaurant’s projected needs.

  • Understand and execute production needs safely and efficiently at each station of the restaurant.

  • Keep assigned work area(s) sanitized and clutter-free with restaurant-issued cleaning supplies.

  • Perform appropriate cash management functions as needed for the assigned restaurant station.

  • Maintain master knowledge of food items, portion amounts, and recipes to prepare food.

  • Check all work including that of other team members to ensure superior quality.

  • Deliver high-quality, personalized customer service with a smile and a positive attitude.

  • Respond quickly and respectfully to directions given by the restaurant’s management team.

Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be flexible and able to assist in other instore positions when needed or when directed by the restaurant’s management team.

  • Verify dates on all food items, updating when necessary and discarding product when no longer within shelf-life.

  • Follow all image and health department standards while in the restaurant’s production area.

  • Prepare, set-up, operate, maintain, and thoroughly clean workspaces.

  • Maintain prompt and reliable attendance in accordance with the employment handbook.

  • Perform other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned by the restaurant’s management team.

General Physical Demands for the Position:

Instore team members will regularly stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces, bend, stoop, turn, lift, talk, walk, reach, carry, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Instore team members will need great finger dexterity. Instore team members will also work in noisy, crowded, and sometimes hot conditions.
