Forklift Operator / Labor

PeopleReady of Monongahela, PA is now hiring Forklift Operator / Labors! As a Forklift Operator / Labor, you will move pallets and containers in a warehouse environment. Equipment operation including forklift as well as other general labor duties in a metal recycling and shredding facility.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Forklift Operator / Labor:

• Safely operating forklift to load boxes and compacted metal materials onto trucks and around the facility.

• Working as a laborer in many parts of the facility assisting with general cleaning of areas, collection of blowoff metal shavings and scraps.

• Observation and operation of conveyor belt system which sorts metal parts throughout the facility.  

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) ,Weekends

Job requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to pass drug screening and background checking requirements

• Ability to work up to 10 hour shifts

• Ability to follow safety and compliance expectations

• Ability to self-lead

• Ability to follow direction and effectively communicate

• Ability to operate a forklift

• Ability to withstand heat and cold- facility is large and weather impacts internal temperature of the facility

• Ability to work in a loud, dirty environment 

• Background check and Drug test required
