Job Description:

Sanitation Technician CIP

What youll do

• Operates and maintains clean in place (CIP) systems for liquid ingredient tanks, process piping and cooker systems
• Assists in clean-up of casing, processing and packaging equipment, utilizing hand tools, power sprayers, rinsing units and sanitation chemicals
• Uses cleaning validation swabbing system.
• Performs final sanitation inspection and sanitizing equipment prior to start-up
• Performs miscellaneous facility clean up as needed
• Records data on CIP, pest control and other required paperwork, including understanding/utilizing SCADA system
• Develops, uses and controls the process with PCPs
• Assists in training new sanitation partners in job responsibilities, cleaning techniques and safety hazards
• Inventory of chemicals and supplies
• Ordering of supplies if needed.
• Operate and maintain chemical dispensing systems
• Performs routine and investigate environmental/microbiological monitoring procedures
• Performs training exercises with new sanitation partners
• EQMS-Swab management for environmental and Pre-OP
• Any and all other duties as assigned by the Team Advisor/Team Leader

What you need to succeed

• High School Diploma G.E.D.
• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Must display professionalism.
• Ability to read and comprehend written or verbal instructions
• Ability to operate power cleaning and sanitizing equipment
• Willing to learn new process systems as they evolve
• Must be able to operate powered Industrial trucks (testing required)
• Must be physically capable of performing moderate to heavy lifting
• Must be able to work in wet and humid conditions
• Ability to operate a computer. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (testing for Word and Excel is required and must be completed before bid closes) PCI testing and WPT-R (Wonderlic).
• Must complete computer data entry
• Perform Micro Lab testing and training
• This position has a 24- month commitment.

• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds .75 hours
• Work in wet and humid conditions 1.5 hours
• Work around ammonia systems, acid systems and high voltage areas 1.25 hours
• Climbing - .5 hours

Wage: Production 04B ($22.40-$26.61 base wage) 24-MONTH PROGRESSION
