Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Field Technician I is to help meet customers' tool and equipment needs by delivering and picking up equipment in a timely, safe and courteous manner.

Essential Functions

Abides by all 24/365 Oil Tools and Service, Inc. safety and operational policies and procedures. Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.

Abides by all customer safety policies and procedures while on the customers job site.

Delivers, installs, operates, removes and maintains various company tools and equipment.

Drives and operates picup and trailer to deliver tools across the Permian and Delaware Basins.

Regularly drives company vehicle in a safe manner, observing all company and government regulations.

Regularly inspects company equipment for preventative maintenance purposes. Assures proper operation, maintenance, applications and documents repairs or damages of company equipment in a timely manner.

Completes all paperwork in a timely manner as required by company and supervisor, including preparation and timely submission of accurate and thorough completion of delivery tickets.

Communicates with team members and oil company personnel.

Ensures proper delivery of product.

Assists in the yard as necessary.

Completes all safety and equipment-related training as required.

Maintains open lines of communication with supervisor before, during and after job completion. Ensures management is informed of area activities and attends meetings as required.

Maintains open lines of communicaiton with various customers regarding job updates, problems, tool procedures and hazards on job site locaitons.

Learns SOPs and work instructions per respective product lines.

Learns hand signals for job site.

Uses all electrical tools/safety devices and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.

Fosters a positive working relationship with co-workers, customers, clients and management.

Responsible for answering calls during on-call hours in accordance with company policies.

Perform inspection on assigned vehicles and trailers needed to deliver equipment safely on public roadways.

Maintaining truck equipment and inventory.

Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a valid drivers license

Ability to work and drive in all types of weather conditions

Ability to operate hand tools

Must have mechanical abilities

Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures

Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Familiar with tools and equipment utilized by company (Preferred)

Must be able to maintain insurability with Company insurance

Works well as a member of the group

Capable of proficiently and safely carrying out a given task

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management

Requires a strong sense of direction and knowledge of surrounding areas

Requires basic mechanical knowledge and experience

Must be able to use hand tools

Must be able to drive long distances in a company vehicle

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Must be able to be on call 24/7 (rotating on-call schedule)

Must maintain a safe driving record as prescribed by company policy

Must successfully pass pre- and post-employment alcohol and drug screens, per company policy

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Valid drivers license
