A successful record of teaching. Experience in public health and/or health services management. Experience with a variety of teaching modalities. An instructor's certificate for first aid and CPR. Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment. r rAdditional Information: r rTHE DEPARTMENT: [The Department of Health Sciences and Social Work at Western Illinois University offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management (on the Macomb campus), a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (on the Macomb and QC campuses), and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) on the Macomb campus, which is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Undergraduate students majoring in public health may select one of three emphasis areas: community health education, environmental and occupational safety, or public health preparedness. A Master of Public Health (MPH) is also offered on both the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses. An online Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Health Services Administration is also offered by the department. There are nine faculty in the Department of Health Sciences and Social Work.
