For appointment as associate professor, the successful candidate will receive release time to assist in securing, maintaining, and oversight of CAE-CD designation, and grant preparation. r rThis is a nine-month full time tenure track appointment with the potential for summer teaching opportunities. r rRANK & SALARY: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor with salary commensurate with training and experience. Although preference is given to candidates with a completed PhD by the appointment start date, ABDs in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems will be considered. ABDs who have not completed the PhD within one year from their start date will receive a terminal contract.(For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education or equivalent from an international accrediting body). r rDemonstrated research agenda. r rPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: r rPreference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a willingness and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer science, and/or information systems. Preference may be given to candidates with research or teaching backgrounds in computer graphics, big data, databases, data analytics, or software engineering. Candidates should also demonstrate a willingness to develop and deliver innovative courses.
