Join Our Team: Project Manager for Glass and Bottle Manufacturing at Gallo

Gallo is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to drive the research, development, and implementation of large-scale projects and capital equipment installations supporting our glass and bottle-making operations. This role is crucial for managing sizable capital programs and demonstrating mastery in container glass manufacturing, quality, and technology.

As a Project Manager, you will be influential in advising management and leading teams, workgroups, and initiatives. Your mission includes selling new concepts to Senior Management, preparing capital expenditure requests, and participating in cross-functional planning and management teams to improve organizational processes.

Key responsibilities include analyzing data for new containers, equipment, and technologies, directing project personnel, and ensuring projects progress on schedule and within budget. You will conduct research and analytical studies, develop design specifications, and coordinate the building and validation of prototypes. Additionally, you will plan and develop experimental test programs, prepare design modifications, and analyze test data to ensure designs meet functional and performance specifications.

Your role also involves acting as a liaison with other departments and organizations, preparing project reports, and coordinating activities with governmental agencies. You will identify and obtain team capabilities needed to accomplish project objectives, balance planning efforts with day-to-day demands, and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations.

What You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of container glass engineering, manufacturing or operations

  • experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 12 years of container glass

  • engineering, manufacturing or operations reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Experience managing projects.

  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable,

  • as listed in this job description.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $130,500.00 - $195,700.00 / year

  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
