The Industrial Electrician, an integral part of our plant operations team, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and modifies all electrical systems at our state-of-the-art can manufacturing plant . The successful candidate will be resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-directed. Pay rate is $32.65/hr. plus $0.20/hr. shift premium
8-hour shift; 3pm to 11pm; overtime on weekends and holidays
5 days on / 2 days off work schedule
What you'll do:
The ability to write code & demonstrate a working knowledge of RS Logic will be a considered a plus.
Check schedule to determine need for change over or if scheduled maintenance is in order.
Determine if schedule can be adjusted or permits time for overhaul, repair or readjustments required by equipment.
Analyze any and all types of mechanical, operational, or electrical troubles and plan for and take corrective action.
Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Perform or direct all maintenance, wiring and installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting testing and power circuits.
Determine proper size and specifications of wire, conduit, switches, panels, fuses, etc.
Create and maintain up-to-date layouts of electrical circuits.
Inspect and maintains all electrical circuitry and equipment to ensure proper condition.
Fabricate and install mounting fixtures and brackets on electrical and plumbing work as assigned.
Inspects and maintains gas mixers and auxiliary equipment as required.
Good trouble shooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergencies
Work closely with supervision and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost control advancements.

Essential Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with a Trade School certification.
3+ years working as an electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of Allen Bradley systems , VFD's, PLC's hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits and 440 MCC's.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists, and other written materials.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, electrical test equipment and related tools and instruments necessary to perform the job.
Must have knowledge of state and local electrical codes.
Physical ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, walk and lift to 50lbs.
Good vision capabilities and good communication skills
Ability to take direction as well as be self-motivated and work alone under high-pressure situation
