Mission

To safely support the Production Department in an organized, SAI-compliant workplace.

Reports to

Production Supervisors & Production Manager

Duties

1.

Empties Waste Carts into Baling Machine and operates Baling Machine

2.

Moves bales to staging area

3.

Replaces paste totes

4.

Maintains a clean work area

5.

Removes core waste and filled fiber trash drums from the production flow and dumps them in the dumpster

6.

Operates the S20 Tennant Sweeper to clean dust and debris off of the production and warehouse floor

7.

Consolidates and disposes of finished paste drums from production

8.

Provides incidental backup Lift Driver support as needed, especially on weekends

9.

Completes all required paperwork associated with job responsibilities and duties

10.

Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Abilities

1.

Reads, understands and follows all rules, regulations and work instructions

2.

Arrives at the workplace, before the shift begins, day in and day out

3.

Works scheduled overtime (weekdays / weekends)

4.

Lifts up to 60 lbs. repeatedly

5.

Able to operate a forklift, the baler, a S20 Tennant sweeper, and a “Tugger” after sufficient training

6.

Leads and coordinates group activities and cooperates with other crews

Education and Experience

1.

Writes legibly and performs basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

2.

Expresses thoughts freely and speaks clearly

3.

GED or HS Diploma

4.

1 yr. manufacturing experience preferred
