ST Engineering Aerospace Aircraft Mechanic Training Program (Airmen Trainee) in Mobile, Alabama

Summary

Responsible for performing routine and non-routine heavy commercial aircraft maintenance and/or modifications in an MRO environment, including component removal and installation, routine open/close, component tagging, lube and service, aircraft marshaling, launch and recovery, aircraft jacking, rigging, fueling/defueling and fuel cell entry, circuit breaker lockout/tag-out and safe/proficient use of ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Remove and replace various aircraft components with the use of special tooling and ground support equipment, based upon oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments in a timely manner.

  • Maintain and store various personal tools in a serviceable condition.

  • Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area at all times.

  • Maintain personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department.

  • Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.

  • Perform any work that may be assigned by his or her Lead / Supervisor.

  • Maintain required monthly communication with ATP Administrator.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Complete Block Training rotations as required to complete Airframe Certification

  • Must be willing to work day shift, night shift, weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year of industrial and/or mechanical experience

  • Pass ACT Work Keys Applied Technology
