Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
*On site position located in Mitchell, SD

Job Summary
Responsible for developing and enhancing telemedicine applications and working with physicians and their office staff in coordinating telemedicine sessions.
Nursing assessment skills required to care for the complex patient.
Computer skills required for documentation and data collection.
Follows proper procedures and policies regarding telemedicine consultations.
Communication to care team and family members.
Strong patient advocate.
Responsible for addressing patient billing concerns and questions as it pertains to telemedicine charges.
Education and/or Experience
Prior experience related to telemedicine and videoconferencing equipment is desirable.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Current license as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota.
Work Schedule
Day shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks
No weekends/holidays/call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$26.25 - $39.25 per hour
