Avera is currently seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

  Job Summary

• The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations in an outpatient clinic and in collaboration with a physician.

• Nurse Practitioners practice under the rules and regulations of the Nurse Practice Act of the state in which they work.

  Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.

  Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensure as an APRN Nurse Practitioner in the state of South Dakota or multistate licensure in a compact state required.

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota or multistate licensure in a compact state required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire.

  Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am -4:30 pm, varies with clinical schedule; 80hrs/2wks
