Job Title: Winder Operator (Days)

Job Description

Manufacturer of plastic resin and plastic pallets for the 3D printing industry is hiring extrusion operators. You will work in the production department to prepare batches, operate plastic extruding machines, and operate plastic winding machines. Responsibilities include making plastic pellets for the 3D printing industry and loading and unloading material in different areas for production.

Hard Skills

• 3+ years production experience

• Machine operating experience (plastics, cardboard, rubber, metal)

• Ability to lift 50lbs

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Missouri City, Texas.

Work Environment

Medium-sized 40,000 SF facility, just opened in January 2024. Installation of production equipment and warehouse is ongoing, so candidates need to be patient and adaptable to changes as the company establishes operations. Maintenance team will consist of about 3 to 5 members per shift. Building the team with a goal of having 5 packers on days, 3 extruders on days, and 3 winders on days. Night shifts will have 2 extruders and 2 winders. Day Shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, on a 2-3-2 schedule (always on day shift, no alternating days/nights).
