We are looking for an experienced front-end developer and technologist to join our team, part of the Citi’s Innovation Lab, working on a trade surveillance platform used across multiple lines of business within our Institutional Clients Group.
As an expert on UI architecture, development, and advanced frameworks, you will be responsible for designing, building, streamlining, and integrating various UI modules in the project. You will also contribute to the team’s strategy around application security, development, testing, and deployment of best-in-class design, principles, and practices.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a Citi-wide mission critical project, take a leading role in evolving our platform, and be a difference maker here at Citi.
Working closely with a global team building large distributed data-centric applications in the trade surveillance and compliance space.
Working in a multidisciplinary DevOps-focused team and building close relationships with engineers, data scientists, business analysts, production support teams and other subject matter experts.
Accountable for ensuring high quality results and acting as a mentor and coach to other team members.
Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.
Adhere to and contribute to improving our code quality and testing standards.
Making complex technical and design decisions for UI projects.
Contribute to researching and providing suggestions for new projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
You have at least 8 years' experience as a professional web developer.
You worked with AngularJS frameworks.
You have high development standards, especially for code quality, code security, code reviews, and unit testing.
You have experience working with, and contributing to building, full end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and delivery.
You have excellent understanding of the latest threats and vulnerabilities in web applications and experience in vulnerability mitigation.
You have proven capability to interact with clients and deliver results – from ideation to production.
You thrive working in fast-paced collaborative development environments.
You agree that verbal and written communication skills are vital
