Citigroup Project Manager/Business Analyst, AVP - Remote Worker – Ontario Based in Mississauga, Ontario
Markets Data, Risk and Controls Technology is a new group will be building technology solutions for various business risk and controls functions
Over the past 5 years we have developed a platform for our business partners with the capability to create complex automated ETL processes to generate real time insights of trading activities. To support our activity and expansion, we are seeking a talented Project Manager/ Business Analyst to join our team and assume responsibility over project delivery management of Trade Surveillance controls in CITI’s vast ecosystem.
This role will represent the group to Business and our stakeholders’ personnel in relation to our control creation process by:
Guide planning of upcoming Book of Work (BoW) as well as upcoming Sprints Work with internal / external stakeholders to map out milestones, discuss next steps and ensure on track for key deliverables Detailed Hand’s on approach to understand, investigate, track, and chase next steps. Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies with a suggested path to green Maintain and ongoing correspondence with our stakeholders
Responsibilities
Project-planning and working with internal stakeholder to define Milestones
Develop relationships with our stakeholders and partners to ensure proper engagement
Establish working groups and host reoccurring meetings to drive progress
Transform business requirements into concrete and actionable work items by analyzing trades life cycle, data availability and controls logic and create technical Business Requirement Documents
Tracking next steps and chase action items
Project communications and reporting on status, risk, dependencies and action plans on internal CITI systems, stakeholder sessions and governance forums
Capture and track the status for technology book of work items, queries, enhancement requests and issues
Ongoing process improvement by interacting with other groups as appropriate
Provide in-depth analysis and demonstrate critical thinking to navigate through challenges
Identify challenges, communicate them upwards and propose risk mitigation options before they become problems
Own outbound communications and represent the team in various forums
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Project Management/Business Analysis experience
Experience in managing relationships with international clients / senior stakeholders – Must
Business Requirements writing and owning backlog / book of work - Must
Strong communication skills - Must
Detail oriented, organized, and methodological mindset - Must
A go-getter, works well independently, proactive, and self-motivated - Must
Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks due to frequent changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events - Must
Good familiarity with Capital Markets, Secondary Sales & Trading – Huge advantage
Have a ‘wide angle’ vision and system-wide perspective of software and online products - Advantage
Basic technical understanding of software development lifecycle and terminology - Advantage
Excellent English written and oral communication skills - Must
Advanced MS Office skills - Must
