The Role:
We are seeking aPricing Specialist.Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that all client products pricing maintenance is accurately maintained in a timely manner. This is done by either approving pricing that is programmed by others within the business divisions or by personally performing the pricing maintenance.
What you’re responsible for:
When pricing is programmed by divisional product managers, this role is the initial approver and is responsible for reviewing and auditing the programmed details and corresponding backup to ensure accuracy and that appropriate approvals have been provided.
If the pricing is not programmed by the divisional product managers, this role programs all other pricing, verifying that the submitted approved documents clearly and accurately provide all required details to support accurate customer billing.
Manage system maintenance of all customer contract DFI programs. This involves performing an annual review of the programmed DFI’s, ensuring valid customer contracts and confirming the approved contract DFI rates. Once validated, they are programmed for the upcoming year. This also involves maintaining DFI’s for new approved customer contracts or any DFI customer contract changes. This role will follow up with the sales team if necessary if any contracts or information are missing or requires additional verification. To test reasonableness of pricing and programs, YOY comparison reports are prepared and investigated if significant differences are noted.
Perform pricing audits where required. If a customer submits a claim for any missed pricing, this role will validate the request to determine its validity and provide supporting documents before any payment is made to the customer. The role also provides support for any other pricing audit requests that might arise, for example internal audits.
Test system enhancements for any pricing maintenance changes that are made to the system as required.
Generate pricing related reports upon request.
Processing incoming orders.
Ongoing communication with sales representatives and customers regarding orders.
Ensure order management portions of inter-warehouse stock transfers are complete on an exception basis.
Key Deliverables:
Customer relationship management skills
Strong working knowledge in SAP
Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products
The ability to communicate in writing, through e-mail, reports, or orally
The ability to organize and prioritize simultaneous Sales Administration related projects
Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization and vendors
Very detail-oriented
Solid communication and organizational skills

3+ years of related finance and administration experience preferred
