About the Team

The Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Engineering and Architecture Practice (EAP) focuses on ensuring architectural cohesion and delivering common, cross-functional capabilities across ICG Technology.

This role will be in Governance & Adoption (GA). The GA is a proactive function within the EAP whose mission is to set focus on realising value by driving the delivery of the strategy and sustainable adoption. The function defines and implements a high standard project management framework, product management, adoption methodology and change management to enable transformation and tangible results.

About the Role

The Digital Program Manager works with the businesses to define and clearly formalise the technology strategy as well as drive adoption of platforms and technology capabilities within ICG. This is a pivotal and proactive role to transform the working environment of the 18,000 people who make up the ICG development community and the associated ecosystem.

Work closely with teams across functions to drive sustainable adoption, deliver tangible results and implement continuous improvements. A collaborative mind-set is a must.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include but not limited to the following:

Be the champion of high standard Project Management practice

Drive Cloud initiatives and sustainable adoption throughout the entire project / program lifecycle from planning to continuous improvements

Effectively manage multiple infrastructure and change management projects / programmes throughout their lifecycle

Coordinate the mapping and execution of delivery plans to ensure on time delivery of requirements incorporating risk assessment and mitigation plan

Constructively gather requirements and challenge teams when required

Challenge and relentlessly coach stakeholders to ensure adherence to scope and project management tools, process and methodology in place

Define and roll-out tools, process and methodology as well as best practice to improve the way we deliver, manage and control projects / programmes

Define, evolve, mature and roll-out clear KPIs to measure delivery success and consistently drive continuous improvement

Rigorously analyse and control relevance of data provided by different teams and partners to facilitate decision making or action taking in a timely manner

Take ownership of various parts of a project / initiative with tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectation / requirements to make progress

Efficiently build strong working relationship with project management, infrastructure and technology teams and partners

Strong Stakeholders management at all levels

Qualifications

Hands-on experience managing projects, driving operational process change and improvement and / or change management

Solid practical knowledge of Prince2 and Agile

Familiar with Confluence, JIRA and building dashboards and success metrics

Track record of delivering high standard and successful projects

Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Proven analytical, diagnostic and multitasking skills with focus on execution and attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to both work independently and partner with virtual teams in a high-pressure matrix environment

Strong experience with data analysis and presentation tools ( e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)

Hands on, adaptable, team player, organised and results driven problem solver with a can-do attitude

Experience in delivering projects within a complex financial services environment is a major plus

Change Management coaching expertise is ideal

Digital consultancy experience with field experience managing the delivery of Cloud products, services and capabilities for large organisations preferred
