Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to join the team with one of our largest retail clients in the Greater Toronto Area on a 12-month contract. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing and expanding their data and data pipeline architecture in addition to optimizing data flows and collection for cross-functional teams.

Skills and Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience coding in Python and Spark from scratch

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team - Experience working within a GCP cloud environment

• Experience working with the retail or e-commerce industry

• Experience publishing or consuming messages in Kafka null
