Sobeys is looking for an organized and proactive Coordinator to join its Sourcing & Supplier Engagement team. This new role is designed to support high impact projects while ensuring business operations continue to run smoothly.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

• Coordinate activities for sourcing and supplier engagement initiatives.

• Provide critical project management support.

• Assist in managing the supplier community and supporting engagement strategies.

• Work within cost management systems to support in the processing and validating of cost changes.

• Provide ad hoc analytical support to sourcing leaders.

• Assist in preparing presentations and materials to support projects.

• Support supplier communications and team updates.

• Handle administrative tasks as needed to keep projects and day-to-day activities moving forward.

What you have to offer:

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.

• 0-2 years of experience in a coordination, project management, or sourcing-related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel & PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication and public speaking skills

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Business acumen with a strategic mindset.

• Strong time management and attention to detail.

• Positive and adaptable and able to influence and energize teams.

• Self-starter: not afraid to ask questions or take initiative.

• Innovative mindset: brings fresh ideas to the table.

• Retail experience is a strong asset.
