GKN Automotive Seria Quality Engineer in Miskolc, Hungary

GKN Automotive Hungary:

It is a truly exciting time to join us at GKN Automotive in Hungary. We are building a new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc which will primarily include assembly, and office accommodation.

Our Miskolc facility will represent an important regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base and in phase-1, we will employ up to 500 people from the local community in 2023, and will continue to develop the site over time in further phases in line with our ambition to double (or even triple!) the scale of our site.

As such, we are investing heavily in the development of state-of-the-art facilities, to ensure our teams have the tools and resources they need to grow, succeed and thrive in our environment.

We invest in our people and every employee has a development plan focused on their specific career and learning objectives. Career development is supported by relevant, sponsored technical learning, coaching, and access to self-driven training across a wide range of topics covering hard and soft skills.

Our culture is underpinned by our Values & Behaviours –Ingenious, Collaborative, Driven, Principled and we are proud of the way that employees regularly have an opportunity to engage with others, provide ideas and work to develop these ideas to become a reality. It’s a place where our multi-discipline team's partner, collaborate, and learn from each other and the contribution of everyone counts.

Across other sites, we also support our employees to give back to the local communities through various initiatives and our plan is to do this in Hungary too. In recent years we have sponsored and supported various initiatives from training rescue skills in the local communities, to renovating schools making time and resources available to collaborate on these important events.
