We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to join our team and optimize the health, safety, and well-being of student athletes participating in school-sanctioned athletics. The Athletic Trainer plays a vital role in preventing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating orthopedic injuries and conditions among our designated student population. Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Coordination: Provide athletic training services at various area schools during practices and contests.
Injury Evaluation: Conduct initial injury evaluations and ensure proper supervision and monitoring of rehabilitation programs.
Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate files on all interactions and treatments provided to student athletes.
Safety Compliance: Educate athletes on safety and injury prevention techniques, and prepare accident reports as needed.
Injury Screening: Evaluate and screen athletes for potential injuries related to previous conditions.
Timely Response: Provide prompt and appropriate evaluation of injuries and illnesses sustained by students during athletic activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, sports medicine or related field from an accredited academic program
Certification in the State of Indiana as an Athletic Trainer
Previous experience in a sports rotation is preferred, but will accept a new graduate from an accredited college
