Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Sr. Associate, Repair Sales

The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through creating and managing customer relationships through sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management. The role will be based in the South Florida territory, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - Repair.

On a typical day you will:

  • Prospect existing accounts for repair sales opportunities

  • Consult with customers on upgrades relating to enhancing safety & reliability.

  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers.

  • Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries

  • Develop & create a pipeline of on & off portfolio repair sales and upgrades through networking, bids and tenders.

  • Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitability.

  • Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results

  • Follow Up on proposals to ensure sales metrics are met

  • Partner with Client Relationship Managers to identify repair leads with existing customer base.

  • Conduct independent site surveys of elevator equipment (3) days out of the week for obsolescence - propose, educate, and consult back with customer your findings and recommendations.

  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on time.

  • Create detailed capital planners for all customers.

  • Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.

  • Office days are reserved for Mondays and Fridays to conduct in office meetings, & cross function with other departments.

  • Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues

  • Conduct Sales presentations to customers, consultants, & property managers on a weekly basis.

What you will need to be successful

  • Proven track record selling and negotiating deals

  • Comfortable with cold calling current and future customers with repair opportunities

  • Ability to work in a highly team - oriented and dynamic environment.

  • Needs to be self motivated and able to to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.

  • You have a business or technical degree or have completed training as a technician or technical business administrator, with a minimum of 5 years' work experience, preferably in the elevator industry.

  • You have experiences in the sale of technical products requiring customer consultation, preferably in the elevator industry.

  • You have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills

  • You have strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

  • You are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization

  • You have a sense of urgency, and can overcome objection, and have great follow up skills

  • You are organized, and have a hunter mentality, with strong time management skills.

  • Ability to think outside the box.
