About this role: The Clinical Education Specialist II is responsible for all aspects of the planning, managing and executing of HCPeducation events in conjunction with the Manager of Clinical Education.This position reports to the GroupManager of Clinical Education and requires collaboration with a variety of internal and field-based BSCstakeholders, including sales representatives/managers, marketing, content & curriculum experts, meetingmanagement team, compliance and BSC customers and faculty. Your responsibilities will include: Primarily responsible for the logistics, planning & execution of Prostate Health programs includingnational courses, centers of education, preceptor, proctor, lectures, and peer to peer calls. Programs areheld both in-person and virtually. Responsible for the logistics planning & execution for Prostate Health programs; including but not limitedto venue selection & site coordination, contract management, travel, lodging & transportation accommodations, catering, technology & AV, marketing materials, tabletop booth, invitations,communications/publications and administrative support. Strategize with Manager on areas such as creating departmental efficiencies, assist in identifying andmanaging training centers strategically located to support global growth, identify proper balance betweeninternal and external event planning resources, budget allocation and cost saving analysis related to eventplanning. Manage event system related to event management including but not limited to attendee registration,attendee communication, attendee travel, attendee reimbursement, faculty payments, vendor contractmanagement, vendor payments and data collection. Communicate proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders, manage expectations,timelines and logistics. Define, track and maintain budgets while ensuring cost savings measures, understand implications ongeneral business objectives and strategies. Generate Engagements for faculty consulting payments in accordance to BSC policy Collaborate with Franchise Leads, Learning Strategists, Sales and the Manager of Clinical Education tocontribute to the development of program content and to establish a standard process to order andmanage all materials, product samples, instrumentation and supplies required for programs and coordinate and manage schedule of training programs & activities for programs. Responsible for establishing, managing and enforcing event management policies and procedures. Assist in the assessment, evaluation, implementation and delivery of training programs. Manage the entire customer experience while attending a training program including initial registrationcommunications, confirmation communications, welcome and thank you letters, travel details,evaluations and reconciliation of expenses incurred during the programs. Required qualifications: MinimumBachelor's degree required in life sciences/ healthcare related field Minimum 5years' experience of managing programs in the medical device field or another regulated industry Proven experience with vendor management and working with a diverse group of customers (i.e. HCPs, engineers, sales, marketing and training) Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight/weekend travel Preferred qualifications: Proven organizational and project management skills Prior knowledge of guidelines and regulations relative to healthcare medical education, training andcommunications Demonstrate proficiency in using multiple systems such as CVent, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Teams Requisition ID:587234 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
