Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in accounts payable and a passion for numbers? Robert Half is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to the seamless operation of the organization's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Review, verify, and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.

• Enter and code invoices into the accounting system, ensuring appropriate approvals have been obtained.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Prepare payment runs, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.

• Assist with month-end close processes by reconciling accounts and providing necessary documentation.

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve issues professionally.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.

• Proficiency with accounting software; experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including general ledger coding and invoice matching.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy of records and reports.

• Effective communication skills to engage with vendors and internal team members.

• Basic understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
