Thrivent Financial Sr. Teaming and Succession Coordinator in Minnesota, United States

The Senior Teaming & Succession Program Coordinator at Thrivent entails providing comprehensive operational and organizational support for the Teaming & Succession group. This role involves assisting in various aspects of teaming and succession workflow processes, such as the teaming consultation pipeline, data analysis, and metrics management. This role also involves supporting the Directors of Teaming and Succession by sharing information with consultants and assisting them and their managers as an operational expert. This role includes managing, disseminating and updating content within our database and provides support and resources to help maturation of advisor practices for strategic growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides comprehensive operational support for Teaming and Succession programs and initiatives.

  • In partnership with leaders will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategy and project milestones for Teaming & Succession.

  • Utilizes Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Power BI to streamline workflows, enhance data analysis, and improve collaboration across teams.

  • Manages the documentation process for the teaming and succession pipeline.

  • Oversees pipeline activity and milestones for departmental colleagues and leaders.

  • Communicates technical content, metrics, and workflow processes to internal and external partners.

  • Leverages qualitative and quantitative analytics to inform program design, delivery, and system effectiveness for future enhancements.

  • Manages and optimizes content within the database and collaborates with the program manager, compliance and other teams to improve processes for Teaming and Succession.

  • Cultivates relationships with compliance, legal, and key stakeholders across Distribution to ensure alignment, enhanced collaboration, and decision-making support.

  • Organizes meeting logistics and program administration for the Teaming and Succession group.

  • Develops team collateral in collaboration with the Directors of Teaming and Succession.

  • Acts as a liaison to all third-party vendors.

    This role focuses on collaboration within the Teaming and Succession, with a proactive approach to identifying areas for execution improvement and enhancing teaming successes through efficiency, alignment, and key performance indicator analysis. It involves building and nurturing relationships within the Teaming and Succession, particularly with advisor-facing consultants, and establishing crucial partnerships with Thrivent's analytics groups and staff in Thrivent Advisor Groups nationwide. This position will also interact with and/or influence key organizational stakeholders and third-party vendors to enhance collaboration, remove barriers, and improve decision-making processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related areas, or equivalent acquired training and experience.

  • 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry supporting advisor programs.

  • 3+ years’ experience in data analysis; including qualitative and quantitative analytics.

  • Strong organizational, administrative skills and ability to work independently.

  • Solid program portfolio and project management experience, including effective vendor management skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong execution and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with foundational practice management topics such as client service models, adding staff or new financial professionals to a team or solo practice, and model office.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $27.98 - $37.85 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
