Schedule/Availability:
Every weekend Saturday 10:00 am - Sunday 11:00 am
Pick 3 weekdays to work from 2:00pm-9:00pm.
(35 hours per week)
Compensation: $19 per hour
*This position does require you to work with individuals who need help with personal cares, have behaviors, and last-minute schedule changes.
In this role you will be making a difference by:
Our employees serve individuals with a combination of high or low behaviors, high or low medical needs, and high or low functioning individuals in a variety of ways, which may include:
Providing oversight to the respite program on the weekends, leading staff and providing direction.
Supporting individuals with daily needs, goals, and activities
Working within several different programs (1:1 In-Home and Respite)
Assisting with personal cares as needed
Administering medications
Providing constant supervision
Transporting individuals to community events
To be considered for this position with us you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle
Hold an acceptable driving record
Possess strong English communication skills
Participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.)
Be able to pass a Department of Human Services background check
Professional or personal experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
