Fiserv Sales Executive, Senior in Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota

What does an outstanding Senior Sales Executive do?

As a Sr. Sales Executive, your primarily responsible for the sales of all products within the mortgage ecosystem. You will have a secondary focus on the consumer lending products and a tertiary focus on the digital account opening products.

In this role, you will lead sales pursuits with Fiserv core clients and non-core banking clients. The ideal candidate will support the business unit’s efforts to identify client targets, understand client needs and present solutions aligned with unique and complex client requirements. This requires an understanding of business channels, products, vendor and workflow requirements and communicating/documenting how the Digital Lending and Origination product suites can support specific new client needs.

You will possess a deep understanding of the solution selling methodology and embrace a consultative sales approach, as well as possess the ability to effectively collaborate cross functionally.

You can look forward to:

  • Developing new client relationship opportunities within targeted vertical markets.

  • Developing and executing long and short-range sales plans to meet and exceed sales objectives as established by the leadership team including lead generation initiatives targeted at prospective new mortgage lending clients.

  • Coordinating client pricing and developing and presenting client proposals and demonstrations that effectively communicate the Fiserv value proposition.

  • Coordinating with legal resources internally in the negotiation of new agreements with prospective clients.

  • Organizing and overseeing the client RFP responses.

  • Supporting and documenting new client due diligence requests in a timely and professional manner. Coordinating other Digital Lending and Origination resources as needed to complete this process.

  • Keeping the sales tracking system properly updated to facilitate accurate and timely reporting of sales activity throughout the sales cycle.

  • Keeping management apprised of sales activities, progress of strategic plans and client responses. Manage various management reports and updates on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Identifying and coordinating participation in appropriate trade organizations and industry conferences and attend as needed.

  • Gathering and communicating product and competitive information from the field regularly. Acting as an information resource to all internal functional areas including sales support, marketing and product management.

  • Supporting integrated sales efforts by facilitating cross-sell opportunities with Fiserv clients inside and outside of the Digital Lending and Origination group.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the mortgage industry

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve multi-million-dollar sales quota

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop leads within assigned territory.

  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and market conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree8 years software or Loan Origination System (LOS) sales experience preferred

  • Knowledge of other mortgage LOS products

  • Experience working with banks, credit unions and mortgage lenders (small to medium)


  • Must be able to travel up to 50% within the United States
