Do you have the expertise and passion to make a difference in natural gas distribution projects? We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Utility Inspector to join our dynamic team in Rochester, MN . In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and contractors, contributing to the success of main replacement projects while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

As a Utility Inspector, you will oversee natural gas distribution and main replacement projects, traveling to various sites to ensure proper execution and compliance with client specifications. You will maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and team members while consistently delivering excellent client work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fieldwork, thrives on solving challenges, and values teamwork.

This is a field-based role in Rochester, MN with a focus on hands-on oversight and compliance. The position will require travel 70%–80% of the time and has an anticipated duration of 6 to 7 months.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and NACE-certified.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to travel extensively as required by project locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Experience with coatings and welding inspections.
